When you strive to manufacture the world's finest tube amplifiers - at some point you realize - unless you have guitars of the same caliber, you're missing something. This is what motivated us to produce a line of premium guitars, which meet the same standards, as our line of tube amplifiers.

Even if you've managed to collect a few nice vintage pieces over the years, you run the risk of devaluing your instruments, through refinements such as re-frets, different pickups, etc. (not to mention the risk of damage in the hazardous world of live performance.)

With the Town House (dual humbucker), the Sirius (dual P90 soap bars) and Continental (triple single coil) guitars, we are convinced we've made a major contribution to the world of timeless American made guitars.

The Kendrick Canary Guitar
Price: $3,795.00
Quantity in Basket: none

When doing research to find the perfect tonewood for a speaker cabinet, we discovered an obscure tonewood from Brazil. Perhaps the most impressive characteristic of the Brazilian Canarywood was its sonic focus and purity. The wood possessed a clarity not found in other woods. Besides being louder than other woods, the tones didn’t break down into subtones like other woods. So there was more fundamental, thus allowing a more round, bass flute-like quality to the sustaining portion of the note. We reasoned that if this wood sounded so superior for guitar amp speaker cabinets, that we should try it as a guitar top. So we made a version of our Townhouse guitar with the Canarywood cap instead of the traditional maple. The result was quite impressive; we call it the Canary Guitar. The guitar sounds acoustically better than other guitars and is so loud without an amplifier that is could compete favorably with an acoustic guitar. All the other features are of finest quality like our other guitars. The body is old growth Honduran mahogany and everything is finished with hand-mixed nitro-cellulose lacquer. All guitars are hand-built by our master luthier. From the handcarved neck to the carved top, it is all there. This guitar compares favorably with guitars selling for two to four times the price.

It's light, it's balanced, with a belly-cut, and it feels good. The tone is both pure and focused.

Features: 24 3/4 scale length, custom wound pickups, choice of neck shape, choice of color, choice of serial number,

The Kendrick Continental
Price: $3,495.00
Quantity in Basket: none

Imagine a guitar so versatile that players as diverse as Buddy Holly and Jimi Hendrix would choose it as their mainstay instrument. Imagine taking that same guitar, to a higher level of "playability", then you'll have a good idea of where we're coming from with the Continental. Inspired by the 1954 "brain child" of Bill Carson and Leo Fender, the Continental, is our take, on how a [bolt on neck] electric guitar should be made. The offset body is made from a one-piece plank, of lightweight alder hardwood and is contoured for balance and comfort. The neck is our standard offset [rounded] "v" shape, designed for an uncommonly "natural" grip; and is made of maple with a rosewood fret board.

The Kendrick Sirius
Price: $3,495.00
Quantity in Basket: none
Far from being a reissue of one of these "budget" classics, however, the Siruis sports a one-piece Honduran mahogany body with a carved top, a belly cut on the back, and beautiful executed ivoroid binding. The large frets are lightly polished and smoothed on the ends, and the hand carved neck's slightly offset V shape offers a compelling vintage/modern feel. Shifting the thickest part of the neck toward the bass side gives the impression that your hand is gripping a fatter neck for chords than it is for lead. It's a cool idea, but the Siruis is a made-to-order instrument and can be specified with just about any neck shape you desire.

The Kendrick Town House
Price: $3,795.00
Quantity in Basket: none
Back in 1970 there was a "Little-O-Band" making one hell of a noise in a rock and roll venue in Groves, Texas. That band was ZZ Top and the venue was the Town House. Needless to say, it made quite an impression on everyone who was lucky enough to have witnessed these first gigs. Over a quarter of a century later, we're still impressed - impressed enough to have designed the ultimate dual humbucking guitar and then name it after the place where our inspiration began.
