Tube Guitar Amp Camps

For years, Kendrick Amplifier president and 20th Century Guitar Magazine and Guitar Player Magazine columnist, Gerald Weber, has hosted "Amp Camps" at his Kendrick Amplifier factory in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. In his Amp Camps which are designed for all experience levels, Gerald teaches, and encourages all phases of restoration, amp building, troubleshooting, design, and set-up. The interactive format encourages individual concerns to be addressed, making every Amp Camp unique. There are two types of Amp Camps. On the third Saturday of May and November, Gerald hosts the “ Work on Your Own Amp Camp”. This is a one day camp with a “let’s get acquainted” jam session the night before. And beginning on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the third Saturday in February and August, Gerald hosts the “Build Your Own Amp Camp”. This three-day event goes from 10 to 5 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. After 5pm on Friday, there is a open-mike jam session at Gerald’s Recording Studio. It is customary to stop at what is arguably the best BarBeQue place in Texas, only one exit before the studio. The seminars are limited seating, all experience levels welcome, and early registration is required (If you have attended a previous Amp Camp or Kendrick Tube Amp Seminar, you will be given an automatic $100 scholarship towards a new enrollment).
